I often joke that my house is a zoo, and I'm just the staff, but I say it with all love and affection for the animals I get to call my own. I have experience as a pet owner, as well as a pet care provider, and enjoy spending time bonding with, and caring for, dogs of all shapes and sizes. I am the current "pet mom" to 2 rescue shih tzus that are great dogs. I previously owned a beagle and a German shepherd, so I am comfortable with big, small and in between sized dogs. I have volunteered with rescue organizations and humane societies, so I am comfortable meeting dogs who may be shy, have some reservations about new people and/or need a little extra love and patience. I am always up for fun walks, a game of fetch or tug, or cuddles on the couch. One of my dogs has some special needs, so I am comfortable making accommodations or being flexible so that we can make things as comfortable for them as possible. I currently work from home and have the flexibility to make my own schedule, so I can easily meet pet care needs. I'm also a "cat mom" (I told you it was a zoo!) so if there are additional pets in the house that need feeding, brushing, attention, or a litter box changed, I am happy to help.
