Pet care experience
I'm a lifelong dog lover with experience owning dogs, I just don't have one at the moment. I am not allowed dogs in my apartment, so I would be sitting at your home. I moved to Portland 2 years ago from the Florida Keys and work part-time at Artists Repertory Theatre. My work shifts are usually no more than 5-6 hours per day typically in the evenings but times vary. I have a very active lifestyle and will bring the dog with me whenever I can whether it's on hikes, out to lunch or camping (owner approved of course).

Jessica was awesome. Took very good care of our pup. He went hiking, swimming, and to the park. Usually he has some separation anxiety but I don't even think he noticed we were gone due to Jessica's awesome care and comfort in her home. Will be rebooking for our next trip.
Jessica is a real doggy pro! She took very good care of my puppy, Vyv. It was my first time leaving Vyv with someone on an overnight stay. Everyone got along great and I felt comfortable leaving her with Jessica. I knew she was in good hands. I definitely recommend Jessica as your next sitter! I'll be using her again.
Jessica was amazing. She was flexible and was even able to take my dog Yogi right away when I had a last minute need. You could tell she really loves dogs, and my Yogi warmed up to her right away. She sent pictures of a very happy dog throughout his stay with her and let me know how he was doing. When I came to pick him up he was calm and happy. I would recommend Jessica in a heartbeat and will use her again!
Jessica is awesome! There's nothing better to come home to a tired pup at the end of the work weekend. Jessica took my dog to the dog park and camping, tuckering her right out. Highly suggest Jessica to anyone!

I like to know if they are anxious around other dogs. Not that I won't host them because of that, but we do have a neighbor dog and I will occasionally host another dog simultaneously so I need to be aware of eccentricities before hand :) I also like to know if the dog barks a lot when left unattended at home. We share a wall with our neighbor and out of respect for them I cannot host a dog that barks (a lot). Please be upfront about any quirks! Better to know beforehand then find out while I'm hosting!
A typical day
I am home most days and work evenings. I like to be active with dogs and take them on hikes and walks or even camping if the owner doesn't mind. I love to snuggle and cuddle with them but probably won't let them sleep in my bed. My roommate and I have opposing work schedules so the dog will rarely, if ever be alone!
