I am a graduate student at the University of Utah, studying in the Parks, Recreation, and Tourism department. Alongside my graduate studies, I am a research assistant with a very time/space flexible schedule, and I work part-time (usually on the weekends) at REI. I'm often able to do my work for the U remotely, guaranteeing ample amounts of time spent with your pet. I prioritize getting outside (walking, hiking, running, etc.) for myself, and I would bring your pet along with me. I live in a little one bedroom apartment, just 10 minutes away from the SLC International airport. My apartment complex is full of other dogs of all shapes and sizes and has excellent accommodations for them all - including doggie bag/waste stations throughout the property. We are also very close to Liberty Park, one of my favorite places to go for a run. I grew up with a rambunctious black lab/golden retriever mix who loved to play in our backyard. I babysat for years with at least two very large dogs running around the house. In the past, I had a beautiful and loving husky who had lots and lots of energy and needed constant attention which gave me a lot of experience working with high energy dogs. He was best when he had a job, like sitting in his "place" or working on his heeling. I love to go hiking, and I enjoy it, even more, when I have a partner. My favorite thing about Rover is that I get to meet so many people and their dogs! I love seeing the relationships between dogs and their owners, and I love being able to be there for folks when they travel or have to be away.
