I am just a huge animal lover! Dogs are a major part of my life and I just want to bring as much puppy happiness into the world as possible. As a dog owner myself, I know how difficult it can be to find trusted help for your pups when you go away. No one likes to stick their best friend in a kennel, and wrangling friends to help is never fun. So that’s why I’m here: to give owners the peace of mind they need by making sure your pup is in good hands when you’re away! I have been a dog sitter for 18 years for a variety of dogs. I have sat in others’ homes as well as boarding dogs in my home. Being a sitter has been an amazing experience and I’ve just loved getting to take care of so many great dogs! I’m happy to take on pups of any stripe because I’m comfortable with just about any breed of pup around. I also have two of my own: Finn, a senior Westie mix, and Reggie, a senior Shih Tzu, and they are the lights of my life! When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. I believe that great communication is the foundation of any good stay. I like to get the ball rolling on communication even before the stay begins! I love getting as much information about you and your pup as possible so I can start thinking about how to make the stay as comfortable as possible. During the booking, I’ll always send plenty of updates your way, and I’m happy to take copious notes on anything from meal prep to exercise times. Of course, updates will always include tons of pictures as well!
