Pet care experience
I’ve been caring for pets since I was 7 years old. We had large breed dogs, but also small dogs whom were breeders, and I was always very hands on with every aspect of the puppy care for the new puppies each year. I worked on training our own dogs, but also crate training and socializing the new pups so that they were going to their forever homes with a little more than the average puppy. I have always done the bathing of our pets, and I am currently working on becoming a dog groomer. I am home 24/7 now, but prior to this I was a property manager since 2002. I went above and beyond for my tenants and would often times pop in when requested and take care of their pets while they were out of town. I have experience working with pets who are elderly, have a hard rime adjusting to new people, environments, and other animals, and pets who need extra special care. I have experience with cats and caged animals as well. We have one dog in our home currently. She is a 7 month old “Teddy Bear” breed who absolutely adores other animals. We also have a cat who is very shy, and will usually sit somewhere high and just observe the surroundings. We have two small birds in a large cage, but they would never be let out while other pets are in the home. If your pet does not do well with other animals, we can definitely accommodate by letting our pets hang out in a predesignated are to be sure that they are comfortable. If your pet has any special food, treats, or exercise needs we will accommodate this as well. I have a whole little road behind my house that is similar to an ally but it is actually a street. There is rarely any traffic. The only people who drive there are usually just the few of us that live on this strip. They can be walked all the way around that space, and do a circle around the front of the homes here and then back to my home so they will get plenty of potty breaks and outside time if needed. I do have a medium size crate if your pet requires one from time to time with the schedule that you currently keep for them. I’ve used Jessica for the last 2 years. I travel for work so I am not always able to get home each night to feed my cat. She comes over twice a day to feed him and even scoops the litter box every day so my fur baby can stay fresh while I’m gone. She responds quickly, she’s always on time, and she’s very respectful of my boundaries. I will continue to use her as long as I am in need of someone taking care of my cat while I’m away!
We had a baby in March. We were nervous about the dog being around for the first few weeks when we brought our daughter home due to me having a c-section and needing to heal before trying to care for a new baby AND our dog, so a friend recommended her. We met with her and explained our situation and she was happy to help! We had Franky (our dog) board with her for two weeks. I was texting her every day to check on him and she was always very quick to respond. She seemed genuinely empathetic for my situation and I really appreciated that. She did great with Franky, and I would definitely reach out to her again if I ever need her help.
Great communication, she’s never cancelled on me and is flexible when I need her to be. She does great with my dogs. She comes over when I’m out of the area and feeds them, walks them, spends a little time playing with them, and then sends me a photo of them each day to show me how they are doing. I would suggest her to friends and family for sure.

We have a yard and a not so busy street behind our home that your pets can be walked along, and nearby parks if you prefer it. I am available to transport pets if needed. I have a medium size crate if your pet requires on at any time at your request. I have a small dog and a cat to keep your pets entertained, but can also remove my pets from their environment if they do not do well with other animals. They would never be left outdoors unattended, and I do have a lead if they appreciate some relaxing in the yard under my supervision. The lead does not extend near any street. My dog uses this while I am out watering my plants and watching my kids jump on the trampoline. If your pet will be coming for an overnight stay and you do not have a bed to provide for them, I can certainly acquire one if needed. My dog sleeps in my room, but we have a second living room that has plenty opened space for them to get comfortable. The house is cleaned thoroughly. We have hard floor surfaces and two large area rugs. We do have a carpet cleaner for accidents and routine carpet scrubbing. I am new to Rover, but will be acquiring more food, water bowls, and toys to accommodate our extra quests!

Please let me know if there is anything that I will need to know about your pet that is crucial to my ability to care for them properly. If they have any special routines, medications, preferences with people or other animals, rules that you would like for me to follow, etc, please don’t hesitate to let me know so that I can be sure that I am providing the best care possible. No request is too big or too small! If they have any toys that they need to bring that are special to them, I will make sure that everything is returned at the end of their stay in the same condition that it came in. If any damage occurs to any of their belongings that is beyond normal wear and tear, I will replace it if needed. I look forward to meeting you and your pet(s), and I hope to be working with you soon!
A typical day
I would love to hear about any special routines that your dog is used to so that if possible I can maintain that consistency with them! We will have plenty of outside time if needed, as the area around my home has a road dedicated to the handful of homes that are on this strip that is behind the houses. Therefore we will not have to walk near any busy streets and I can guarantee the safety of your furry friend. If your pet likes to go people watching at the park they will be in luck because I too enjoy leisurely strolls in the outdoors and there is a great park just up the road from my home! It is also not right along a busy street and has a walking path that we can spend plenty of time on. I also have a lead in the back yard, so if their idea of a good time is just laying in the grass while listening to the birds, I will hook them to it and sit on the patio just 10 feet away as long as they would like me to. If for any reason we need to stay indoors, I have a covered patio area that I can walk them on with their leash to make sure that they are getting their well needed potty breaks! We have two family rooms, so there will be plenty of opportunities for them to either hang out with the family or take a break from it all in the other family room.

Availability
I am home 24/7 now, so caring for your pets will be my top priority. I have older children who have experience with our own pets, and would be available to take on the responsibilities of our own pets while I am caring for yours! We live in a 2 story 4 bedroom home, so there is plenty of space and all are welcome! I am available for all services 24 hours a day, and 7 days a week. I am also able to take your pets to their appointments if necessary.
