I grew up an animal lover and have had pets all my life, minus a few years when in college. I have had dogs, rabbits, hamsters, fish, and a guinea pig. My first dog was a miniature dachshund and he lived to be 14 years old. I now have a mixed breed rescue dog who is 3 years old. I love to walk, play with, and run with dogs. I volunteered for a year with an animal rescue shelter in Colorado where I walked and ran to exercise the dogs.
