Being a parent to a child or fur baby is the greatest life lesson. Being a single mom to an amazing 11-year-old daughter has been a humbling, challenging, and ultimately the most rewarding experience of my life. There is no way to really explain what it’s like to exist for another living being––loving and caring for them more than yourself. I have always grown up with animals, and I want my daughter to experience not only being around animals, but learn how to care for them. I hope to show her compassion, responsibility, loyalty, kindness, and unconditional love. When I was a young girl, I volunteered at Petsmart because I really loved surrounding myself with dogs and helped walk those awaiting adoption. My daughter and I currently volunteer at Wags & Walks in West LA. My family had Rottweilers, German Shepherds, and Huskies growing up. I am very comfortable with all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I am optimistic and exude positive energy, and I think that’s why animals always take to me. My other passion is fitness and I like to get outside as much as possible! It would be great if your pup could come along on long walks, hikes, and runs around the neighborhood if they’re physically compatible. Otherwise, I am happy to adapt my activities according to their capabilities. I love exercise, but I do find balance, and love to relax and take it easy. I train and compete in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and kickboxing––so I am very disciplined and active. My daughter also trains and is in the entertainment industry. She has weekly voice and piano lessons, but otherwise, I have a very flexible schedule as a dog walker and sitter. She is an amazing 11 year-old daughter who has a huge heart for animals and her mature ambitions keep me on my toes. Because of her, we have rescued birds, a rat she found on one of our walks, a baby squirrel, and an injured possum, as well as volunteer at a dog rescue. She gives each dog we walk plenty of love, attention, and extra doses of play time. I am very attentive to each dog and show affection and compassion freely, and am very patient to those more timid and shy. I am detail-oriented individual, and no task involving your beloved pet will be too small. It really brings me so much joy and fulfillment offering myself to your dog while you are away. Bringing you peace of mind is my utmost priority.
