I am 26 years old and work as a manager at Harris Teeter during the day. I hold the belief that every animal deserves love, regardless of its species; therefore, I am not limiting my care to just dogs. I have owned and cared for the following pets: fish, aquatic and terrestrial hermit crabs, a fire-bellied toad, hamsters, rats, a snake, a guinea pig, rabbits, cats, dogs, goats, and horses. I have 2 roommates who help me care for the animals and together, we have 1 dog, 3 cats, a bearded dragon, and a snake. Our house is 2,530 sq ft with a big backyard. I am pretty versed in animal safety and would have no problem caring for any animal, including those I have never owned. I follow directions well and will tend to any animals’ needs. Insects, arachnids, reptiles, birds, mammals, and any exotics that fall under those categories are animals I’d be happy to work with and care for. Jessica was fantastic and our corgi Francis loved his stay! This was our first time using Rover and we will definitely be back and highly recommend a stay here. We received photos of Francis every day and he even got to stay in her bed as he loves to cuddle.
Very thorough care and Jessica has a safe and clean home with a backyard. She also has roommates who are animal lovers, so there is always someone home to keep an eye on Bella.
Jessica was GREAT! I needed someone to watch my dog relatively short notice for thanksgiving and she was perfect! Not only did she work with me for drop off times, she also sent videos and pictures throughout his stay with her. He had lots of fun playing with other dogs and seemed to really enjoy his time there! Will definitely be using Jessica again!
Excellent puppy sitter! Jessica did an amazing job keeping me updated on my dogs progress each day. My dog was on an antibiotic and she had to take it twice a day and Jessica was great about administering them. I would definitely trust her with my fur-baby again in the future!

I have a big fenced backyard for the pups to run around and play in! They’ll be let out every 4-8 hours depending on the day/dogs requirements. I do allow any animal to sleep on my bed with me!

All I need to know about any animal I care for is if it is aggressive or not. This doesn’t mean I won’t take them on! I just need to know if they will need to be kept away from other animals on walks, if they will bite given the opportunity, things like that. I absolutely do not have any breed preferences. I will give the same amount of love to a Pitbull as I will a teacup Poodle.
A typical day
I love going on walks through natural parks. Dogs will enjoy a relaxed pace and plenty of time to sniff and mark every tree, bush, pole, and hydrant we stumble upon. I will not pull your dogs along. This is THEIR time, and I want them to enjoy it!

Availability
Between myself and my roommates, someone will always be home to give love, affection, and care to your fur babies! We all work, but they’ll never be left alone for more than 8 hours as our shifts are all staggered throughout the day.
