Pet care experience
I love taking care of animals and helping people! I have volunteered with AWARE Wildlife Rescue, Transitions Pet Care, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Food & Friends, and more! It is a true hobby for me to care for others. I have a very calm, quiet demeanor so I am good with all types of dogs and people. People closest to me have described me as "extremely patient."

The sitter I initially booked never responded on the day I was supposed to drop off my dog. This happened right as I was about to go out of town, so I was in a real bind. At the last minute I found Jessica and she was a godsend. She was so nice and reassuring. She sent me pictures and videos throughout my dog's stay and when she had an emergency she communicated with me. She is professional, kind and I would hire her again in a heartbeat!

My dog, Toby, is older and a bit of a couch potato. Our regular routine is a couple short walks daily with in-between potty breaks as needed. Weekends usually incorporate longer walks. Additionally there are plenty of toys available at all times. Plus daily treats and chew toys.

Especially for having pets stay in my home, please let me know if the answer is "yes" to the following, as it may impact our experience together: Is your dog aggressive with cats and other dogs? Is your dog NOT up to date on vaccines, medications, and flea prevention? Is your dog food and/or toy aggressive? Will your dog jump a fence? Is your dog high-energy?
A typical day
Going to parks for walking and off-leash play if available. Other activities would be walking the neighborhood and fun playtime with my dog (only if your pet is also dog-friendly).

Availability
I work from home full-time and available most weekends and federal holidays. I have a flexible schedule while I work from home full-time. I'm off work every other Friday and my availability on weekends is also fairly flexible with advanced notice.
