Like most common people, I absolutely love dogs. I think I tried to pet every single friendly stray-dog during my time abroad in Malaysia. My family home has had pets for as long as I can remember. We recently adopted the common ones: a cat and a puppy. I have helped to train the dog to go outside without a leash, walk beside me instead of pulling in front of me (which is still a work in progress), and understand safe play and when to stop. Our one year old, Maui (nicknamed Mauser), no longer begs for food, pees in the house, or nips. Prior to these guys, I have owned a bearded dragon, a snake, geckos, a chameleon, hermit crabs, and fish. I have also aided in the care of a snapping turtle, catfish (temporarily), and a few other injured freshwater creatures. I have some experience administering medicine to a cat and the snapping turtle (believe it or not) and am willing to help your big or little furry friend with whatever specifications they require for their well-being. Also, as a dog owner I understand the worries of letting someone take care of your dog. Because of this, I will be sure to check in at the end of every walk and periodically throughout any longer appointments to ease these concerns. I am down to take your dog (or cat!) for a walk, socialize them, play with them, continue their training, or just let him or her relax and watch tv. Animals make me happy, if I can be there to help your best friend, I’m sure it would make both of our days more stress-free. :)
