We love having puppy play dates with our friends dogs and often watch our friend's dogs whenever they are out of town. I have experience with all dog types of all ages, including not house trained yet puppies and high energy dogs. We have a large, fenced in yard that is perfect for playing fetch, catching today's smells and burning off energy. I also work from home and will be home 90% of the time I am watching your furry friend. If a serious situation were to happen (god forbid), we are located near our vet and the emergency vet hospital. I have not personally had to inject medicine or take care of a dog with special needs, but I am confident that I would be able to. If your dog needs 24/7 care, I will gladly adjust my schedule to make sure I can provide that. I work from home and interact with my dogs all day. I usually play fetch with my lab twice a day to exercise off his high energy and let both dogs out every ~2 hours. The only times I am not home is if I am playing beach volleyball or running errands, but then my boyfriend is usually home to watch them. He is not home during normal work week hours. Overall, my dogs are almost never alone for more than 4-6 hours and I will always make sure yours gets the attention they need! We own our property and it is almost half an acre with a fenced in yard. The fences are 4ft picket fences and a chain link fence between the neighbors, which could be a problem if your dog is prone to jumping fences. The neighbors have a very sweet lab/pit mix that loves to come over and say hi. We allow our dogs on the couch and bed during the day, but they sleep on one of the three dog beds we have at night. Your dog will be treated like one of our own and is welcome on the furniture as well, unless you say otherwise.
