Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, and pocket pets of all sizes for a number of years. I spent 2 years working as a veterinary technician/kennel technician and have spent 250+ hours volunteering at vet hospital and animal shelters. I am very familiar with dog behavior and know how to react in most situations. My partner and I have had animals all our lives big and small. We are comfortable with any sized animal and will treat your furry friend like family. While you are gone our goal is to make your pet feel happy, loved, and comfortable. We do foster cats so most of the time there will be a cat in the house, so that is something to keep in mind for boarders. We also have multiple reliable form of transportation to drive to your residence.

Jessica did a great job with my kitties! They are not used to visitors and she got them to warm up to her and play everyday while I was gone. I felt very comfortable knowing my cats were in good hands while I was gone.
Jessica housesat and watched my 3 dogs for a few days and took great care of them when she was with them, including giving medications 2x/day to 1 of my dogs. We had a few hiccups in routine communication during the trip which I was told was due primarily to the Rover app not working properly - which meant her pics/updates weren't received by me when they were originally sent, but eventually I got them. One of the nice things about working with Jessica is that we could talk transparently about what happened and figure out a Plan B for the next time. Jessica truly cares about doing a good job when pet/housesitting and takes feedback very well. We look forward to the next time she will watch my pack again.
My experiences with Jessica and Josh so far have been great (meet & greet and follow-on drop-in visit). They both have been very responsible, communicate very well, and asked great questions about my dogs, their preferences and routine, etc. My 3 dogs instantly felt comfortable and wanted all the attention they could get from both of them. I'm feeling great about leaving my fur kids in their care for an upcoming multi-day trip.
Jessica and Josh are so great! I could tell my pups got so much attention and love. They had so my fun playing outside in the snow! Jessica was very communicative and sent lots of pics which we appreciate.

In a client's home we will always follow the household instructions and ensure the animal is always either secure in their fenced in yard or on a leash when outside. Our goal is to leave the house better than we found it, so if there are any other house sitting requests, such as watering plants or putting out the trash cans, please let us know!

A typical day
Every animal is different, so we make it a priority during our meet and greets to learn what activities your pet enjoys most. We love going for walks when the weathers nice, but we can also keep busy playing indoors or lounging on the couch.

Availability
I am currently working full-time on a graduate degree which means majority of the time my schedule is flexible, but there are times I will be out of the house for 6-8 hours at a time. My partner has a little bit more of a set schedule, working 7-4 most days. Our overlapping schedules allow us to optimize the amount of special attention your pets get throughout the day. I am available for walks in the early mornings and evenings, and can dog sit at any point throughout the week.
