Pet care experience
Hello! I’m Jessica. I’m a graduate of the University of North Texas and I am beginning to pursue my graduate degree in counseling. I have been pet-sitting for family friends and neighbors for a few years now and one of them has recently told me about Rover. I've decided to give it a try because I love giving love to dogs and getting to meet new people. I know that I can take good care of your dog - even if they have medical needs. I've cared for dogs that have needed daily medicine as well as insulin shots. I'm always up to learning new ways to help care for dogs. I also have experience in taking care of other animals as well: cats, birds, fish, turtles, tortoises, iguanas, and lizards. I want to give your dog(s) all the love they need and keep them happy while you're away. (All of the photos on my profile are of my pets and friends' pets that I have cared for. The cats and Rat Terrier are my personal pets, all the others are friends'.)

Jessica did a fantastic job house sitting our little pack. Always available for check in texts, and unafraid to ask questions when she’s unsure how to proceed, your dogs and cats are in safe hands! She also very sweetly brought in all of the mail and left a lovely parting note for us when we got home! Last but not least, she is a true friend to animals, as our neighbor let us know that she found a dog wondering our neighborhood and she went door to door looking for their owner. Needless to say, we will absolutely be reaching out to her in the future for her help!

She's had experience taking care of cats and dogs, some of which are considered 'fragile' requiring attention to basic medical concerns. I tell my dog 'down' when she jumps up on my legs but my neighbor says 'off', little things like that can make a huge difference,
A typical day
I will walk around your neighborhood or if your dog has a favorite walking place I'll take them there. I would be perfectly happy to sit inside and watch TV and give your dog lots of love or go outside and run around and play with them. I also sing and play guitar so if your dog enjoys music I can keep them entertained. I just like being with dogs and making them happy.
