I give the dogs I watch the company they need. I am experienced with eating/bathroom schedules and have provided consistent care for my dog and others I have watched for over 6 years. I have been independently responsible for the caring of dogs through multiple days/nights, and have more than enough time on my hands to provide the attention that sitting or walking your dog requires. I have worked with dogs that have had violent pasts in puppy mills and have been sensitized to certain things like their legs being touched or being around other dogs, and I have taken precautions needed to give dogs with these traumatized backgrounds the comforting care they need. I can sense what dogs need and will communicate with you to get the best idea of how to provide the most sufficient care.

I would want to make sure they know I’m not just here to barge in and leave as soon as I drop by. I would spend all the time needed to make sure they feel that they are getting the attention they need.

I have more experience with small to medium size dogs, but I have a heart for owning a big dog in the future due to their deep nature to be loyal and protective of their owner. I would like to know if the dog has any violent or sensitive tendencies, as I can approach them in the most efficient way, and I have had experience with traumatized pets coming from puppy mills or having bad pasts and violent nature towards certain parts of their body being touched/around other dogs. It is important to know so that I can approach the situation correctly.
A typical day
I will go on walks and if the dog desires, go to a fenced in field to throw tennis balls and run and play until their energy runs out. I have a pool and if the dog/owner desires, will gladly assist the dog in the pool if they wish to get hydrated on these hot summer days. I give baths often and spend nights petting dogs until they are fully comfortable with their stay.

I am an online student at the moment and have been away from my responsibilities at home taking care of my family dog. I would love nothing more than a dog to love and take care of while I am at this stage of my life and would be willing to fit a dogs schedule into my daily routine.
