I have grown up with Golden Retrievers and love dogs. I am excited to provide a loving home away from home for your special fur baby. (S)he will receive lots of love and play time. Your dog will go on walks and play ball. I only take one dog at a time. I do this so I can give your pup my full attention - lots of pets, treats, walks, zoomies, and time to play games. I also treat your fur baby as I treat my own. Part of that is keeping everyone safe and healthy; therefore, I will only watch dogs that are up-to-date on their vaccines. My dog is up-to-date on her vet care, and I am happy to provide proof of vaccination if you like. I have a large crate and dog bed available, or you can certainly provide your own if that would make your pup feel more at home. The dogs love spending time on the dog bed in front of my picture window (dog TV!!). My yard has a fence, and your dog will be supervised at all times when outdoors. I have a 2-year-old Golden who would love to play with your pup. She loves to play ball and zoom in the backyard and would happily share her toys with your pup. I am happy to do a meet and greet before confirming a booking, if you prefer. I understand that your dog is an important member of your family, and it is important to you that (s)he be in a safe place, get what (s)he needs, and be able to play and relax in a way that is as close to home as possible. I am committed to providing that for your dog.

Jessica was fantastic! I received consistent updates with pictures and she treated my fur baby like her own. She was flexible, reliable, trustworthy and has the sweetest golden retriever, Willow. Jessica and Willow were absolutely wonderful! They were so kind with Dr Dog, and accommodating to me with a changing schedule with state high school tournament. She made me feel very comfortable with a quick drop off and a dog with separation anxiety. She even sent me pictures and took him on a walk to meet her Grandma! So sweet! He was totally happy and relaxed upon pick up. It was a great experience, and I highly recommend her to anyone. Thanks, Jessica and Willow!
Jessica was wonderful with Quazu. He immediately felt at home with Willow and her. She sent me lots of photos ?. The pups seemed to have a great time together.

I have a fenced yard and supervise outdoor play at all times. My dog normally eats twice a day - morning and evening, and I feed and offer your dog treats whenever I offer them to my dog, unless you ask me to do something different. I will ask before giving your dog any treats. I offer walks at least once a day. I go based on your dog's energy level and desire to roam the neighborhood. I treat your pup as my own and give him/her as much love and attention as possible.

I would like to know your dog's routine, how they do with other dogs and people for when we go on walks, and whether they can have treats. Your dog must be housebroken. I want to know if they have any behaviors I should keep my eye on - chewing, separation anxiety, slipping harnesses, etc. I want to know if they are up-to-date on their shots. I want to know if they can have treats and what kind, when they eat. Basically, I want to know as much about your dog's usual day so that (s)he feels as comfortable as possible. My preference is Golden Retrievers, but I am willing to dog sit most breeds.
A typical day
I am a firm believer in a tired pup is a happy pup. So play is of the utmost importance. We go outside for ball and to sniff the grass and zoom around. If it's hot, we might play in the kiddie pool. We go on walks along the river and maybe even to Notre Dame. Inside the dogs are free to lounge on the couch or the dog bed in front of a large picture window. I call it TV for dogs. They love watching people and other pups walk by...and of course, they keep an eye on the squirrels and rabbits.

Availability
I am currently working from home and can attend to your dog's needs throughout the day. Dogs will be walked at least once a day unless you ask for a different setup. I'm happy to give your pup a bath and a nice brushing before they return home, if you request.
