Pet care experience
I am currently a veterinary assistant and have been for two and half years. I have a bachelor's in psychology and am currently pursuing a bachelor's in biology. I grew up with dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, etc.. As an adult I have cared for three dogs and one cat of my own. Over the years I have had to administer medication and monitor health conditions of my own pets. I take the well-being of an animal very seriously and will provide the best care that I can for your fur baby or babies.

Jessica will always be my #1 choice for any pet-related needs. Her compassion and empathy for all fur babies, big or small, snuggly or wild, is unmatched. She is very organized, and can easily manage medication schedules more complicated than my granny's, even for multiple pets at the same time! She has worked for more than two years as a veterinary assistant, and combined with her knowledge and passion for biology (she's a fourth year biology student at ENMU), I trust her with my pets' medical concerns more than anyone else. My fur babies love her, and she has always taken the best care of them, and she will take the best care of your fur babies too.

For my in home boarding you can expect that your pup will have a large fenced in grass yard to run and potty in and will be supervised at all times. I do have one small male chiweenie that tends to mind his own business. During meal time and when I leave he will be kenneled. My cat will also be in a separate room for the duration of the board. Feeding is done in separate areas of the house and there will be two communal water bowls full at all times. They are allowed to lay down or sleep where they please. I have a nice quiet neighborhood to take them on walks in the evenings as well. They will also receive a ton of love and attention and as many updates as you would like. For walking clients you can expect I will be prepared with doggy bags and water. I will make sure the pavement is not to hot to walk on and am always very aware of my surroundings. I do not listen to music while walking so that I can be completely alert to ensure the safety of your pet. You can trust me to follow instructions to make sure your pet safe and home is secured before I leave.

A typical day
While in my care I will make sure keep your pet entertained by running out energy in the yard, playing fetch, belly rubs, light tug of war etc. Any toys will only be played with while supervised. For walks I typically will walk around the neighborhood that the home is in. While at my house it will be around my neighborhood.

I currently am working part time and going to school. I have plenty of time that I am at home studying and am only away for a max of 5 hours at a time.
