Pet care experience
From farms to cities to mountains, I've spent a lot of time working with a variety of pets. I'm most suited to dogs who can be left alone for some hours, due to work, or dogs who like to come on adventures - hiking, camping or cabins. I think I am a good balance with dogs, I try to find out as much as I can before agreeing to work with them, so that I can upkeep any training or routines. I enjoy taking the dogs out to nature, so if you have a dog that loves the beach, or even going camping, I think we'd be a perfect match. My house is private and central. I have a small outdoor unfenced area but would prioritise taking the dog away from busy areas for walks, exercise and toilet. I grew up training sheep dogs on my family farms, and later on helped out a family friend who did professional dog walking and sitting, so I'm used to coordinating a wide variety of dog breeds and natures. I have less experience with cats but I really love having them as companions so would happily come to look after one or take one at my home. Jessica tok kjempegodt vare på vår valp da vi var bortreist i fire dager, og hun tok godt vare på oss mennesker med kommunikasjon og møter i forkant og oppdateringer underveis. Bulle fikk være med på flotte eventyr og vi var hele tiden trygge på at han var i gode, kjærlige og erfarne hender. Kan det finnes noen bedre hundepasser? Jeg tror ikke det! Takk Jess, vi håper du har lyst på besøk av Bulle igjen ved en senere anledning :D
Jess passet vår 12 år gamle cocker spaniel i 6 dager. Hun svarte raskt på forespørselen og var svært lett å kommunisere med, både på melding og når vi møttes. Hun har masse erfaring med hunder, noe som var veldig tydelig da hun var sammen med vår hund, de fikk åpenbart god kjemi. Veldig profesjonell og ordnet alt så det ble enklest mulig for oss, sendte hyppige hyggelige oppdateringer med bilder og tok med hunden vår på masse spennende turer. Vi følte oss helt trygge på at hunden hadde det bra, nesten bedre enn hjemme, og vi er 100% fornøyde og kommer definitivt til å bruke Jess igjen!
We are Almudena and Bowie, a lovely black Labrador I asked Jessica to take care of Bowie multiple times, from he was a puppy until recently, before we moved to another city. It is sad because I don’t have a Jessica here yet that I feel comfortable leaving my dog with. Jessica is very attentive, kind and cuddly with dogs. She also trains the dog if you ask, such as simple commands, and if asked to not play in a certain way, she respects the decision. I gave Jessica the freedom to do the plans she wanted, or whatever would be a cool plan to bring Bowie on board with, which was some really cool hikes, among other things. When I collect Bowie at Jess’s house, I can see that he had a great time and that he has spent a lot of energy, which is something I appreciate. 🙂

I have a private small house where pets have access to the bottom floor and the upstairs bedroom is off limits. There is space enough for a cage and small pen if necessary. Pets are free to roam and there is a small park next door for bathroom breaks.

I have 2 other jobs. 2 days a week I am out during the day, and some nights I work doing tours, but can normally find someone to check in on the dog if I am out for long periods.
