Jessica did great, no problems, and sent pictures. We’ll be booking with her again.

Jessica was very responsive to both doing a meet and greet beforehand, and was quickly to respond during visits when she was prompted. Overall, my cats basic needs were met over the three weeks Jessica was sitting for me. We did have a few hiccups. I was not aware that Jessica started her visits when she parked or during her drive to my apartment, as she later told me. Therefore, while she was scheduled for 30 minute visits, she was there for closer to 20 minutes. Additionally, while I asked for the litter box to be changed once per week while gone, it was changed once over the course of the visit. The first line of my litter box instructions stated for it to be changed once per week. Finally, there was some confusion over the food. I asked for my 2 pets to be fed a total of 3 cups of dry food per day. Jessica came to the house every 48 hours, but only put down 3 cups of food per 48 hours. When I asked her to adjust this, she was quick to put down extra food. Had there been confusion, I would have appreciated her asking for clarification. None of these concerns, were quite frankly, what prompted me to write this review. I did attempt to address the concerns with her privately before deciding to leave a public review, and she recommended that I no longer hire through Rover and find someone to work for free instead. She also let me know about the burden sitting had placed on her, including gas, time spent driving, and taxes through Rover. We did a meet and greet well before the actual sitting took place, so I would have appreciated her not booking the visit had the burden on her been too great. I had no issue paying her fees, as they are reasonable fees and am fine with paying well for good care. Had the visit gone well, I was planning on tipping her adequately to make up for the amount that Rover takes from its workers at the end of the three weeks, because I recognize that it’s substantial. However, I did not end up tipping her. Overall, my cats were cared for and their essential needs were met, but I would likely not book her again.
