I am a high school teacher, which means I am out of the house from 6:30AM until 3:30PM; however, my spouse is home during the day, while the kids are at school. We have 3 children; two of whom live with us full-time. Right now is our "off-season" so we are not in sports and are home from 3:30PM on.

We are the "go-to" dog-sitter in our neighborhood. Typically, we allow pets to have free-range of the house, except for the basement, as that is where all the toys are housed and we would rather be safe than sorry! We are able to crate, if necessary. I am a very active person and enjoy going for long walks through the neighborhood. We have many neighbors with pets, so if you are looking for our furry family member to have playtime with others, that can easily be arranged. If you need a home that is free of other pets, we can easily accommodate that as well, considering we currently do not have any pets of our own.

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs or any necessities. We have twin 9 year old boys who love dogs, but who are also very knowledgable about boundaries.
A typical day
We will go for daily walks around the neighborhood. I also believe in keeping pets stimulated mentally, so I plan on providing other enrichment activities such as treat finding and scent games.

Pet care experience
I have worked with animals, specifically dogs since I was 14 years old. I started working at a dog groomer and then moved on to work at a veterinary clinic for the next 6 years. While working there, I trained to become a vet tech assistant until I decided to go into education. I have owned dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Many people joke that I love animals more than I like humans... which ultimately is true! Your pet is in the best of hands and will be loved on while in my care :)

Jessica’s and Aaron take such good care of Oliver. I always know he’s safe and happy while I’m out of town.
This was our first time using rover and a sitter we didn’t know prior. I can’t speak more highly of Jessica and Aaron. They were so nice and welcoming and instantly put us at ease of leaving our boy for a week. We got at least one picture a day and communication was so quick if I ever asked any questions! Highly recommend!!
