Pet care experience
I am a lifelong dog lover, and have been training and caring for my and my family's dogs for over twenty years. I have been very active in dog rescue for the past fifteen years, and have fostered many dogs of different ages and temperaments. I love all dogs, but am especially fond of terriers! I absolutely love to care for dogs, and treat each one as if he/she were my own. I am a dog mom myself and I know how important it is to have someone you TRUST and know will care for your baby just like you would. I have been pet-sitting for friends, family, rescue contacts and clients for many years. I find out about what their likes/dislikes are and make sure that each dog gets special attention and love in addition to required walks and feedings. I have many references available. I would love to help out you and your pups!

Jessica is fantastic! She has watched my dogs when I travel and I just know they are well taken care of. They always go right to her when she comes over and they seem comfortable and happy/never stressed when I get home. I can tell when they have had a bad experience and when Jessica comes over it's 100% positive.
Hands down the best dog sitter in Syracuse! Jessica watched our Shih Tzu overnight for several days and was so good to him. She is walked and played with him regularly. Communicating was great and she texted us photos and updates frequently. Highly recommend!
I would enthusiastically recommend Jessica to anyone seeking a dog sitter! Jessica has watched our anxious Havanese on multiple occasions, and she always does her best to provide a home away from home while we are out of town. Jessica loves dogs and it shows. She has volunteered for years for a Schnauzer rescue group and has brought comfort to many dogs that came from untenable situations. One of the other reasons I feel confident leaving our dog with Jessica is that she keeps in contact with us while we are away so that we know how our dog is doing. She has even sent pictures so that we feel reassured as well! We are very selective about who our dog can stay with given her temperament, and we are so lucky that Jessica has the ability to provide a secure and loving environment to our dog when we are not able to be there for her.

A typical day
I love to walk dogs in my neighborhood, or in nice weather, in Onondaga Lake Park. If dogs enjoy the dog park, I am happy to bring them to them there. I will play with them if they are into toys, balls, etc. Or if they are just a couch potato who wants to be petted, that's great too.
