Hi! I’ve spent many years traveling and dog sitting/walking wherever I go by word of mouth from Mini dogs to Mammoths. I’ve also watched cats, reptiles and the occasional chicken (that acted much like a dog) so it is safe to say I am an animal lover. I like to engage in playtime, dog parks and small hikes if possible (walks around the block work too for condo or apartment dogs) as well as just hanging out on the couch snuggling and making funny faces to send to their owners. I also like to encourage smell sense games that encourage a dog to use his or her nose to find me by playing hide n’ seek and hiding treats under a blanket and have them work out how to find the treat; it helps stave off boredom and is very rewarding. I’ve had experience administering oral medications to older and anxiety prone dogs. I enjoy the company and comfort of playing and relaxing with the dogs under my care. I find they seem to be more at peace in their own homes with consistent routines and for me to be able to be a part of that gives me a certain happiness. Thankfully, I have a flexible schedule that allows for working from home and giving attention to the needs of my charge. Best suited for short term clients and/or vacationers, especially during the holidays. I am happy to watch cats, dogs and/or other family pets such at rabbits, lizards, snakes etc. Jessie at your service!
