Can I give a zero or a minus zero?? I would not let her pet sit a dead bird. She said she would be at the house late morning and arrived at 3 p.m. She totally filled one dog's bowl with dried food and vegetables (no canned food) and was gone by 5. She returned after 7 but left again for an hour and then left again at 11, home before 1 a.m. (My neighbor came over and checked on the dogs for me). Jessica had told me, "I work off my computer and my schedule is completely flexible. I can be home all day with them if that is what you want." The next day she left a little after 8 a.m. She left 6 lights in the master bath burning and six lights in the kitchen were on. She returned by 3 p.m., walked the dogs, left again at 5 p.m. and came home about 7:50 p.m. when I was there to fire her. She only fed the two dogs the one meal. Again, my neighbor came over the second day at 1 p.m. and fed both dogs and filled an EMPTY water dish. I had a NEST camera set up and told her I could see the area, but it didn't seem to register with her. That is why I left my vacation area and returned home via a 9 hour drive I had typed out complete instructions for her which she did not follow at all. I also asked if she would please bring in the mail; she had not. I was furious with her complete lack of empathy. She swore up and down that she had given them water and they had drank it all. She completely denied everything and bawled and bawled as she prepared to leave. 5 Pinocchio's.

She never came to meet and greet beforehand due to her message not sending. That would have been fine, but she was hours late and I had to leave before we could do one before the sitting. She never mentioned that she was scared of my dogs breed until the day of. If she had mentioned it earlier I would have found another sitter. When she did come over my dog could pick up on her being scared and was apparently not very friendly and that made her more scared. He never got to know her and to him, she was an intruder to the house. Had to call my neighbor to take care of my dog from the road. He didn't have any problems because my dog is extremely sweet and warm to people who he meets in our presence. She was very professional about everything thing but the extreme lack of communication caused my trip to be filled with worry and having to call her and my neighbor several times. Would not recommend for people with 60lbs+ dogs.
