I'm an experienced pet sitter who recently lost my doggy best friend of 14 years. I miss her dearly and I love being around other pups. It helps heal the heart! I'm a teacher in Tahoe City, CA which lends me summers to play and extra time for pet care. I spent 6 years in a vets office before my education career, and spent many of those 6 years as a travel and in-home pet sitter. I have the ability to give meds (including shots if needed) and as an active person your pup will get plenty of play time and exercise. Experience with elderly dog care as well. I am a teacher and have lots of time in the summer. However, during the school year I only take laid-back pups who can wait for potty breaks during school hours 7:30-2:30. Unless, you are in Tahoe City and then I can come by more often. Why I love dog sitting I have grown up with dogs and couldn't see myself without a pooch in my life. Right now I'm pup-less but when I recover from this loss I plan to add a new one to my life. In addition to 6 years of vet assistant and pet sitting experience I have also worked at a Border Collie training facility grooming, training and caring for the dogs. About my yard- If we decide your pup comes to my house :) I have a large, shaded, flat back yard however, it is not fenced in. I do have back deck with ample shade that can be closed off. I live on a calm street with little traffic. My experience administering medication Yes, all kinds including shots (insulin, etc)
