Pet care experience
The individualized experience your dog receives with me is what distinguishes an above and beyond experience compared to your average dog boarding facility. I’ve cared for/owned dogs all through my childhood into adulthood. I currently own a 2 year old West Highland terrier, named Dougie, who loves play buddies. He welcomes big dogs or small dogs to be his friend!

My dog lived with Jesse for 4 months. She had a blast, and Jesse was awesome. She got multiple walks a day and lots of exercise. He lives next to the water so she went to the beach a few times a week to run around. He was extremely responsive if I called or texted and made sure that we were update if she needed anything. At one point my dog needed to go to the vet, and Jesse made time to make sure she was taken care of. Jesse also let me know that she needed a grooming. He was able to set up the appointment and made sure she got groomed. I would definitely use Jesse to watch my dog long-term again, and I would recommend his services to anyone who is looking for any type of dog care service.
Having seen Jesse M. interact with animals for years, I can confidently say Jesse is one of the few people I can trust with my dog! He truly has a love and compassion for animals that he displays through his patience and respect for the animal. Not only does Jesse M. have a natural admiration for animals, he is a trustworthy and reliable dog walker.
Jesse couldn’t be more of a perfect fit for Rover. I’ve been lucky enough to watch him successfully raise his own dog, Dougie. Dougie is one of the most obedient and happy dogs I know. Not only do all dogs love him but he knows how to train and take care of them. Jesse watches my dog on weekends and sometimes I’m worried sally wants to stay with Jesse instead of me :)

Being able to know their temperament, age, and size is useful information for me to plan my strategy on how to make your pet feel comfortable and entertained. Do they play well with other dogs? Are there any food allergies? What times do they eat? Do they need to stay on a leash? Do they get aggressive if you pet them a certain way? Do they respond to their name if you call them? What toys/treats do they like? All the above can be really useful when making their experience a happy and healthy one.
A typical day
Whether your dog prefers a wooded path, an open field to run around, or a swim in the ocean, I can provide all three! My dog Dougie is super friendly as well and gets along with every dog, big or small. If your dog is the type that likes to lounge around, my house is more than accommodating. Furniture, beds, and floors are all acceptable areas for them to just hang.
