Pet care experience
Animal lover with lots of cats and dogs growing up. Big and small, from young to old--I have lived with and cared for them. And I now have a great deal of experience as a Rover sitter since 2017! My girlfriend and I live in a house with a fenced-in backyard--so we can accommodate all breeds and needs. The house is on a quiet street for peaceful walks, which is great for shy and anxious dogs! Our house will be their house. So, whether your pet likes to relax on the couch and snooze; or, would rather go to the dog park to get in its' sniffs and exercise--we can oblige.

Jesse was great! We could tell he had many years of experience with dogs immediately while doing a meet and greet. After we dropped Joy off he was extremely communicative and easy going. Our somewhat idiosyncratic 1 YO pup had a couple issues and he was a total pro in the situation and went above and beyond what was needed. Can’t thank him enough and totally recommend him!
Jesse is awesome! He was very accommodating with our travel schedule, provided updates and took the best care of our boy! Highly recommend!
One of the best people out there. I have a dog who doesn’t get along the best with other dogs, and Jesse was so understanding. Sent me pics and let him feel at home. Also Jesse is just a great dude, all around good vibes.

We love hosting dogs in our home! We like them to be as comfortable as possible; We allow your pet on all of the furniture or in bed—if that’s their desire and okay. We cook frequently and like to share healthy snacks with them—owner approved of course—because we want them to feel right at home during their stay.

Can your dog be left alone for 4-8 hours? Does your dog have separation anxiety or tend to bark at noises? It’s okay if they do, just like to be aware! Should we hide items that may be irresistible to your dog… sandals, wooden decor, etc? Will medication administration be required during their stay? And how do they do with other dog? We like to know in case dogs approach us on a walk. But, also if you are hoping to socialize you dog more, we can often help in that regard!
A typical day
Neighborhood walks, trips to the park or a hike, runs (if your pup needs it), or visits to dog-friendly establishments. But, we are just as happy to lounge on the couch if your dog prefers.

We both have flexible work schedules, sometimes working in the office and sometimes from home. So, we are able to accommodate whatever needs arise when it comes to taking care of your pet, days that we can care for them, and meet & greets.
