We were very impressed by Jesse’s service. Previously, we’d experienced an alarmingly low level of professionalism and reliability from individuals offering dog boarding and other dog-related services in our neighbourhood (Bloor and Dufferin Toronto). Jesse was the polar opposite of the bulk of his peers and coordinated with us in the two weeks prior to our drop-off to ensure that our special guy would be comfortable, safe and well taken care of. Jesse was certain to ask us how we wanted our dog cared for and enquired whether there were any norms we maintained at home (largely with regards to access to beds/couches) so as they would not be inadvertently violated during our dogs stay with him. Jesse was also very comfortable discussing different difficulties that our older and more fragile dog might experience in our absence and the treatments/drugs that might have been necessary for recovery. While away, we received regular updates from Jesse via our chosen method of communication. We found these updates to be very reassuring and they often were accompanied by a couple snaps of our little guy, an appreciated inclusion as we missed the dear soul terribly. We picked our dog up this morning, I think possibly in better shape than we had left him. He seemed cheerful and energetic - evidence, I think, of the great care he received at Jesse’s. We wholeheartedly endorse Jesse’s boarding service. He was professional, reliable and an eager communicator. We felt confident leaving our beloved dog with him and we’re greeted by a happy and heathy pooch upon our return.
