I grew up in Northern Manitoba with a large dog wolf hybrid until I was about 10 and moved to the city. After Winston, I got Charlie, a small miniature poodle! I have also owned a Bearded Dragon names Basilisk, and a cuddly kitten named Pingu. I adopted Kofi, a rescued malinois 1 year old from the Winnipeg Humane Society and helped her become a much more social and well-behaved girl. She was an amazing puppy who kind of acted like a rabbit since she hopped around everywhere with a huge smile on her face! She was definitely a handful and super mischievous, and some may have called her overly energetic (she had super strong drive and was extremely intelligent) but I think it says a lot that within 7 months she went from a dog that wasn’t supposed to be around any other animals and any kids younger than 16, to cuddling a 10 month old baby and toddlers, and zooming through dog parks and making lots of new doggy friends. With many years of experience caring for all types of animals, I also tend to be the person people go to when they need more dirty work done. One of my best skills is probably taking care of sick animals (giving meds, etc.), especially if the owner can’t figure it out or their pet won’t cooperate. Many of my friends and family would also tell you that I’m weirdly good at spotting a sick pet. Not only will I provide love, but I will make sure that your animal is safe above all else.
