Jess was very quick to respond to our inquiry, and very responsive to all further communications. She bonded quite quickly with Dante and took excellent care of him for two days/nights. We will definitely use her services in the future. Highly recommend.
Jess is a very caring and loving caregiver for my pets. She is definitely a “dog” person who understands the special needs of dogs of any size and age. I trust her completely with my doggies (and cat) and I am always assured they are getting the exercise, care and love they deserve. I like her flexibility with hours, locations, etc. Your best little friends are in good hands!
I have been using Jess for years as my go to (only) sitter for my special boy. She is amazing. Loves dogs, and my dog loves her. I wouldn't us anyone else.

My house is comfortable and secure if they need to stay with me. No other animals live here, but I would let you know if I have more than one dog to care for here in my home beforehand. There are lots of trails nearby and we’ll go for lots of walks and enjoy the outdoors as much as possible! While home, they can sleep on the couch or doggy bed or my bed. Wherever they’re most comfortable. I also have a second story deck they can go in and out of as they please to “survey” the neighborhood.

Always good for me to know: Does your dog prefer a leash or no leash? I know some do better off and some are more responsive on. I can do both - I personally have no preference. Does he/she have any issues with kids or people in general? Are there any medications needed or allergies that I should be aware of? What are some of their favorite activities? Are there any instances or possibilities of aggression? Any triggers for this kind of behavior? Anything else that you think I may want to know, I’m happy to hear and accommodate!
A typical day
We will enjoy leashed or leash-free walks (depending on owner’s preference) around the local trails. I know all the best ones around here! We can take a drive down to Donner Lake for a swim and social time with other pups. Whatever games they like to play, I’m up for! Fetch? Hide and seek? Tug-o-war? Let’s play! After a fun play session, nothing beats a good belly rub or head scratch, right? All the tail thumps and leg kicks lead me to believe that I’m pretty good at finding their favorite spots.

Availability
My passion and main job is teaching dance. I work in the evenings and would only be away for about 3-4 hours at a time. I pride myself on being flexible and meeting your needs if plans change. I can be around for you if you live here and need on going help, or I can jump in and help out if you’re visiting Truckee for a short stay. I know what it was like to want be able to do what I need to do and feel worried and stressed about leaving my animals. I miss my dog every single day, and I’m glad to be able to give a safe and secure situation for you and your pets to enjoy life!
