Pet care experience
I have always loved every and all dogs, and most recently considered starting my own dog walking business. I've been a dog owner for 4 years with my Corgi Waldo and have trained him to complete over 30 tricks and also take him to retirement homes and some work spaces. Waldo gets along well with all other animals and we love to go on outdoor adventures to forests, lakes, and local parks. I also have experience handling a 125lb Malamute, so I'm not shy with big dogs, and am constantly researching about pet care and trends to stay on-top of the latest recommendations in the industry. I myself have also trained my corgi do be therapy dog certified and can offer introductory training into your canine's life. I would be thrilled to take another animal on our walks with us, and can't wait to learn more about you and your adorable pup.

Jess was awesome! Our puppy had a blast with her and she was gracious about me being a pain in the butt by moving start times and having me stop in to drop off food.
Jess has watched our German Shepherd / Collie on multiple occasions. She has taken him for weekends and even taken him for a week at a time. I love when Jess watches our dog! I know he is in good hands - she is great about feeding him on a schedule and making sure he gets out a couple times during the day. She has a dog herself who is super friendly and a great companion for our dog. She loves to take the dogs out on adventures and our dog is always super worn out from all the exercise when she brings him home. I'd highly recommend Jess to watch your pooch. She has a great love for dogs and a high respect of personal preferences from the owners.
Not only is Jess a great dog sitter/walker, she’s a very easy person to talk to from a customer perspective. She’s personable, knowledgeable, and extremely trust-worthy. Hands down the BEST!
My pups love staying with Jess. She's amazing with them and so knowledgeable about training and socialization. Her corgi Waldo was so welcoming with my guys and I think that helped my two settle in well. The second time they stayed over they were thrilled and dragged me from the car to her place! I truely love all dogs of any size, the biggest thing for me is personality, training and exposure to other animals. If your pooch is friendly, good with other dogs (ie. my Corgi), and wanting a fun-loving good ol' adventure, I'm sure we'll get along great. If your dog does not do well with others, I can always take them on their own solo walk for an added fee, and willing to work on introducing them to other animals properly as well.
A typical day
Every day I switch up my Corgi Waldo's outdoor adventure, our favourite places however are: - Local Forests (Bechtel and Huron Specifically) - Snyders Flatts (For a walk and swim on hot days) - Kiwanis Dog Park (offers a 2km walk to the enclosed dog park before playing in the fenced in area and on the way back) - Walking downtown and at local parks (Victoria park is huge and beautiful) We also love to play fetch in closed in area by our home and other games and training. In fact if there are certain tributes and skills you'd like your dog to learn we can work on building those habits together as well for an added fee.
