Pet care experience
Hello, my name is Jess, and I adore dogs of all shapes and sizes, like the rest of my family; my sister is, in fact, the one who told me about Rover. I have had my own dogs for most of my life, and used to dog-sit for friends. I have also worked at both a cattery and kennels, as well as a vets, so plenty of experience in making sure your pooch is happy and healthy! My partner and I (and our small dog) live on top of several large fields for small walks, with other great country walks only a short drive away. Days with me are spent running, walking, playing, snuggling, and whatever else seems like fun! I’m a teacher, looking for doggo fun and company in the school holidays and weekends. Jess looked after my dog for the past few nights and I want to say everything was perfect. I've never left my dog with anyone before and with her being a little frail and old (13) I must admit I was a little worried. But those fears quickly went after meeting Jess and her dog :) Things that made this experience far easier is that Jess was quick to reply to messages and this made the booking really easy - even though I left it pretty late. All in all, I'm really pleased and will certainly be booking with her again. Phil
Absolutely fantastic sitter. Granger had an amazing time and came home exhausted!
Jess and her partner were very understanding of our shy older dog and made sure he felt comfortable in their home. She asked all the right questions and was really good about getting to know the personality and needs of our dog. We had an initial meet and greet to introduce our dogs and help mine to feel comfortable. We also received a photo update each day which was great to see how he was doing!

I will happily accept all breeds, providing I can meet them first with the owner should I request it, and obviously it is important that I know of any medical conditions and general information about your dog’s temperament. If they dislike other dogs, I can still take them as mine can be kept entirely separately, but I just need to know.
A typical day
A minute’s walk, with no roads, leads to several large fields for walking, a stream to investigate, balls to chase, and the chance to say hello to other doggy pals if your pet likes to. A short trip in the car can lead to woodland walks, miles of fields, country pubs to visit and plenty of toys and stick to chase.
