*Living in St. Charles, MO during the summer *Living in Kirksville, MO August–May Hi, my name is Jess! I've been caring for dogs for several years now and have loved every second of it. I rescued my best friend, Luna, from Adair County Humane Society and couldn't imagine living life without her. I'm so proud to be her dog mom and will treat your pup like they're my own. Luna loves making new friends and we're always excited to temporarily add a pup to our pack! I'm currently enrolled in college and have plenty of time in the afternoons and evenings to spend with your dog, as well as various times throughout the day that will work perfectly for walks or drop-in visits. I'm a runner, so if your dog wants to go for a jog, even better! If he or she would rather cuddle up on the couch instead, I'll be just as happy to do that. I will do everything I can to make sure your pet is happy and healthy. I am CPR trained, have experience administering medicine (pills and shots), and have cared for many senior dogs over the years that were beloved members of my family. I'm looking forward to hearing from you and your best pal!

Our dog was very happy after his two-day stay with Jess. She took him walking and sent us pictures during the stay. He looked to be having a good time. He does not always eat when he is in a new place, and he waited to eat until later the first day, but by the second morning, he was clearly comfortable and ate his breakfast right off. We appreciate Jess taking good care of him!

We can go on walks in neighborhoods, on Truman State’s campus (when away at school from August–May), and in local and state parks. I'd love to go exploring with your dog! I'm happy to play fetch, hide and seek, find the treat, or any other games with them in my home.
