Pet care experience
I've been an animal lover since day 1! I had a family cat growing up who I adored. In college, I frequently did dog sitting for families near campus. I now have 2 cats of my own and have been a foster parent to cats for the last 6 years. If you're looking for me at a party, I'm wherever the pets are hanging out! I also do TNR (trap, neuter, return) for neighborhood feral cats so we can reduce shelter overload!

Jess is an incredible petsitter! While she's a cat lady through and through (I've met her adorable feline duo, Theo and Dottie, on many occasions) she's also done a fabulous job watching my senior dog, too. I'm certain Jess is a neighborhood cat Mother Theresa, since she's known for not only spoiling Theo and Dottie at home, but also frequently housing foster kittens and cats and helping them get adopted, too. Book her to watch your fur babies, you won't regret it!

As a pet owner and foster mom myself, I know the importance of taking it slow and building trust. I am patient with each new animal and give them the space to get to know me and my pets. I usually put them in a separate space initially so they get used to my house. I make sure that they eat separately so they get the proper nutrition. And I keep dogs leashed when we go outside and do not let cats outside at all.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or dietary requirements. I know how important it is to give pets the right food (especially if they are picky eaters) and medications too. I also like to know if there are any activities that are a definite NO for them.
A typical day
I love going on walks in parks or trails in the San Gabriel Valley. If your dog likes that too, we can go exploring together! I am also totally okay with snuggling and cuddles if that's more your dog's speed.

I work from home and I am self-employed, so I am fairly flexible to take care of your furry children! I also love going on my daily walk and can't wait to have a friend to bring with me.
