Pet care experience
If you leave your dog in my care, I'll give them just as much love as you do! I'm a 25-year-old journalist, outdoor adventure addict and serious dog lover taking a break from the career grind to pursue a yoga teacher training certification. This means I have loads of time to spend at home or on the trail with your furry friend! I've lived with and cared for dogs most of my life. The only reason I don't have one of my own is that I plan to travel within the next few years and wouldn’t want to leave anybody behind. I've cared for dogs of all sizes and temperaments—from Chihuahuas and bull dogs to German shepherds, a Bernese mountain dog and a Doberman—and I look forward to meeting yours. I've raised a few pups, walked leash-tuggers and reassured dogs who are nervous. I can incorporate as much or little training as you desire.

Jess is a caring, responsible and loving dog owner and caregiver. She understands and is sensitive to the needs and emotions of dogs of all sizes and breeds. She’s a natural in communicating and handling dogs as well as reading their body language and tending to their needs. I have no doubt that any dog in her care will be given the utmost love and devotion. No dog parent needs to worry if their baby is in her capable hands.

Jess was great with my pup Murphy. She was available to watch him on short notice and was accommodating to Murphy's needs. With how active he is, Jess took him on walks and to the dog park. He came back tired but happy! Jess also sent lots of updates via pics and messages. Thanks Jess!
Jess has helped me and my family out with our two dogs on multiple occasions. From short-term bailouts (3-day weekends) to longer stints (2+ weeks dog sitting), we've never had to worry about the wellbeing of our dogs. Having always had a dog at home herself, she knows that a little extra loving and TLC goes a long way. She was also very quick to pick up on our two dogs very different personalities and preferences and was able to adapt to meet both of their needs. She went above and beyond by checking our dogs for ticks after taking them on walks, and even bringing one of them on an emergency vet visit after he got ill. Jess is a reliable dog-lover, and I would full-heartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter or walker.
