Pet care experience
I’ve professionally taken care of people’s pets for over three years and I specialize in house sitting so your pet doesn’t sit anxiously by the door while you’re away. I will be as hands on as you’d like, with walks, cuddles or adventures as requested. I have a soft spot for anxious animals that need lots of cuddles and attention :) I have experience with very high energy dogs and love to either wear them out with the ball or challenge them to brain games (the brain games seem to wear them out faster than a run surprisingly). I have infinite amounts of patience for dogs that pull on the leash or have high energy needs so you don’t have to worry about your dog being trained/corrected/or punished when they are with me 👎. I have experience watching a variety of pets including, dogs, cats, bunnies, fish and lizards. I love all animals and am open to watching animals that are not on the list as long as there are thorough instructions provided if needed.

Jess pet/house sat for us in August. We have an old, sometime grumpy chihuahua who requires heart meds, and a very fearful mini Goldendoodle. She was amazing with them both. They both took to her quickly, and we loved getting the daily pictures and videos from Jess. She updated us every evening and sent pictures. We could tell she was spoiling them, and probably catered to them more than we do…lol! She also recently did a drop in for us when we were going to be gone most of the day. Would highly recommend her and we will definitely be using her again!
Jess was great. Very professional and personable. We had her dog sit and house sit. Very pleased. Our dog liked her too. We will definitely have her dog sit again in the future
Jess was FANTASTIC and highly recommend having her watch your fur baby! Quick communication, daily picture and videos, and was great with our older dog who is deaf plus hard of seeing.

I prefer house sitting as this is the most seamless experience for your pet but am also available for drop ins if you’d prefer that (based on my availability). I would like to know your animal’s activity levels prior to booking as well as if they have a fenced in back yard or will require daily walks for potty breaks. I would also love to know what makes your dogs happy so I can do more of it as well as what makes your dog anxious/unhappy so I can avoid it. :)
A typical day
Cuddles, Brain Games and outdoor activities! Every dog has a different activity level and different needs and I try to make their visits as enjoyable as possible in whatever way that is for them :)

Availability
I primarily work from my laptop but also have a full time job with very flexible hours that I am able to adjust if requested in advance. I never accept a dog house sitting job if I will be gone for more than 6 hours at a time unless the pet has access to a doggy door or the owner can make other arrangements. Cats are obviously another story :)
