Pet care experience
I am a 25 year associate attorney with no roommates. I've been pet sitting for family, friends, and neighbors for as long as I can remember! I adopted my own foster-fail several years ago, Annie. I try to keep the dogs as active as possible by exploring neighborhoods, trails, and other outdoor activities. I intend to provide a scheduled sense of normalcy, aligning with your schedule as much as possible to comfort your dog while you're away! I have experience with all types of dogs. I have extensive experience administering medications and giving baths also upon request. I can't wait to meet your dogs and give them the best experience possible! I am home every day for lunch, so I have plenty of time to take your dog out midday. I leave at 8:45 am, home for lunch between 11-1, then get home at 5 every day. I have the ability to separate my dog from other pets if boarding in my home as well as the ability to leave my own dog home if you would like me to stay in your home without my own dog if you are not too far away.

I have a Furbo dog camera in my home to ensure pet safety while I am away. All pets are welcome on the furniture, including my bed at night if they would like. I have dog beds throughout my apartment and a large living room for them to play!

I would need to know exercise, training, food, and medication schedules along with emergency contacts. I do not have breed preferences, however I would ask that your dog be fully house trained and dog-friendly if coming to stay with me.
A typical day
With permission of course, I love taking my dog(s) to hiking trails around Birmingham, around neighborhoods, and even to breweries! All vehicular travel will be at your request or with your permission. I allow my dog to sleep in my bed, although I don't think I've ever had much of an option, so yours will be welcome to accompany us wherever we may be. I have a dog park at my apartment complex that we visit a few times a week. I also have experience training dogs, so if you have any tricks or commands you'd like to work on, just let me know! My dog will "sit" and wait for a command before entering my home or eating, so feel free to let me know if you have any special habits like that you'd like me to continue!

I am currently working full time as a first year associate attorney, but I am generally able to come home on my lunch break. I have a Furbo dog camera in my home to ensure all pets are safe and happy while I am away during the work week. In the evenings and on weekends, I am very active and love taking my dog on walks and trails.
