Pet care experience
I have had dogs and cats in my life ever since I was a child. I got my first dog (a black lab) when I was only 3 and ever since then I’ve always had animals in my life. Flash forward 30 years and I’ve had multiple animals come and go. Rover is my way to have dogs in my life without the commitment of having one myself. I have cared for anywhere from 5 months to 15 year old pups, and I love them all! I understand the needs of different ages and I am home most of the time to do whatever it is they need. I live with my partner Sean in an apartment in a large house in Highland park. We have a back and front yard and can accommodate any size and breed of dog. Our back yard is fenced in so I can let dogs run around without worry. When I watch dogs I stick to one dog at a time given the fact that I want to give them my full attention. If there is ever an overlap that may occur I always check with both parties to see if that is okay, if not, I make sure not to accept. Can’t wait to meet you and your pup! I have a back yard that's fenced in and it makes it easy to go out if your pup needs to go out frequently. I make sure to pay lots of attention to the pup I have and give them lots of love! Depending on their activity level/social interactions with other dogs I also am very close to the park and love to take pups up there to get out energy. I also always keep dogs on a leash. In my yard I do also have a stake I can hook them on to so they do have some independence and can get their sniffs in! Also I have all dogs will need including a large crate (so if you use one you don't have to lug it along), bowls, toys, treats, doggie bags, retractable leashes and a yard stake we can put outside to play when not in the backyard. I normally only ask owners to bring doggie beds/blankets with their house smells (if they like that!) and whatever food they require. Otherwise, I have everything else.

I do not have any breed preferences, I love dogs of all shapes and sizes! I do have a lot of experience with Labs, Terriers, Doodles and Maltese’s.
A typical day
I can walk the dogs anywhere in the area, I live close to highland park so I like to take them up there. I also love snuggle time! :)

Availability
I am home everyday with the exception of a few hours on Wednesday and Saturday in the morning/early afternoon. I have plenty of time to give you dog the undivided attention it deserves.
