Welcome to The Hardy-Berndt Ranch! Our family adopted our first dog together shortly after moving into our first home. Since then, we have adopted three more, fostered almost forty dogs together and love having extra heartbeats in our home. We even chose our current home for its dog-friendly neighborhood, large yard with multiple fenced areas, and plenty of space for visiting dogs to settle in and feel comfortable. We appreciate dogs of all sizes, shapes, breeds, and ages with a soft spot for shy dogs and seniors. Our resident dogs are a variety of sizes, ages, and personalities, so for social clients we are happy to match up playmates within our family for those clients looking for social interactions. Dogs who enjoy the company of other canines will be welcome to visit in our home and be with our resident pups. Having fostered several dogs with challenging behaviors and understanding how important it is for them to be safe and comfortable, we welcome dogs who may prefer to be separate from others and/or enjoy the company of humans only (an additional fee may apply if full separation is requested). For dogs working on social skills and with specific training needs, our family will gladly discuss with you and do our best to reinforce the training you are working on at home. As you will see from our photos, we do have a dedicated "rescue room" devoted to canine visitors who would prefer a little extra space. This includes a private, fenced yard area connected so visitors can be outdoors without interacting with others if needed. Our household is committed to helping your pet(s) feel comfortable and receive the best possible care while you travel. We look forward to meeting you and your beloved pets!
