Greetings! I'm a writer who works from home and would welcome some canine company ... not just to hang out with me indoors, but also to join me for some nice energetic strolls ... I live in a 2BR apartment (1200 sq ft), walking distance from some wonderful dog-friendly parks, including Pan Pacific and Hancock... And my living room window looks directly out on a huge lawn where dogs can be seen frolicking all day long -- your dog will love to sit on my couch and watch the action... I call it Doggo TV... And then of course there will be plenty of opportunities for us to go out there and join them (if your dog is so inclined) ... I'm well stocked with bowls, toys, treats, even comfy dog beds -- but of course feel free to bring your own goodies ... I've cared for dogs (and cats and fish and parakeets, and even horses) pretty much all my life... and I welcome the opportunity to be mutually entertained by yours.. Jerry is an incredibly kind, funny, and caring care taker for our fur baby Biggie. While Biggie is an easy-going pup who just sleeps and snores all day, it takes a special and patient person to understand that bulldogs require an additional layer of TLC; they don’t do well in heat, they’re extremely slow walkers and hate exercise, but are extremely prideful and stubborn (literally won’t move if they don’t want to walk), dominate other dogs’ food if unsupervised, and can, well, be a bit of a bully to other dogs. Jerry is so patient with all of these nuances and welcomed Biggie with open arms. We look forward to the multiple, hilariously narrated videos and photos that Jerry sends us, and it not only makes us laugh but puts us at ease knowing that our only child is in good hands and a safe, clean environment. Together, Biggie & Jerry are like Robert De Niro and Danny DeVito, and we’re here for it! Thank you so much as always for your kindness and attention to Biggie, Jerry! Biggie looks forward to his next staycation.

A typical day
We're usually up early for a quick walk, followed by breakfast... Alexa keeps us in good music throughout the day... 15-to-20 minute walks every 3-4 hours, as needed -- with at least one vigorous long walk, usually to a nearby park, in mid-afternoon... Depending on your pup's predilections, lots of opportunities for playing "fetch" or "tug of war" with toys throughout the day... And of course we'll stick to whatever meal and exercise schedule you prescribe... No dog ever leaves bored!...

I'm home most of the day, and am fortunate to live in an area where I can run most errands on foot -- so even if I have to leave for a couple hours, to dash to the supermarket or return a library book, I can happily take your dog with me... When I practice music, I'm grateful for the captive audience!...
