When I first met Jerrod the very first thing that was clear to me was that he was a dog lover. Scratch that, he was a dog person. Every time he has an interaction with furry friends it isn't your typical head scratch. He acknowledges the dog by going down to their level and spends at least 3 minutes with them. This is just accounting on the dogs I have walked passed with him. Jerrod has a real passion and talent with animals. From the dogs he cares for in his home to the ones he first meets and befriend. I've witness one of the angriest dogs do a 180 and start to nuzzle into his neck after five minutes. If there is anyone you want sitting for our fury friends, it's Jerrod. He holds "man's best friend" to the highest degree when it comes to loyalty and companionship.

I have known Jerrod for a little over 2 years. If I could include pictures or videos of him embracing animals, I would. Because it is hard to correctly explain the gravity and love that he has for not only for dogs, but for animals in general. Because to him, they are family. Not only does he perform the basic menial tasks of caring for animals diligently, but he really cares about the happiness of the animal(s). Dogs are quite literally his passion. And in return, literally every animal loves him back. I've always been jealous of people that just have that spirit that animals are drawn to. And Jerrod is definitely one of those people. I have always hoped that one day he would pursue working with animals somehow, because that what he loves. Some day to day examples that showcase Jerrod being a good caregiver are as follows. He has 4 small dogs of his own, which literally swarm him like flies when he enters the room. They are all always well taken care of and loved. He has been one of their main caregivers for years. Jerrod also about pees his pants whenever he sees a dog ANYWHERE in public. But I honestly can not stress enough how much animals actually connect withy him in return. So not only does Jerrod have the skills and experience to take care of dogs, but he has the heart for it. He understands the attention that dogs need. Whether its running around in circles or playing tug-o-war for hours. Jerrod is game. He has a heart to serve and serve diligently.
