Pet care experience
I have had a dog as a member of my family for most of my life. My father instilled in me a great love of animals. I have done dog sitting for friends with great results both in my home and in theirs. These days I offer dog sitting in my home. This is not a kennel environment. I have worked as Small Animals Manager for a local pet store, which I loved. It is a great joy for me to be able to work with animals. But, mostly I just love my dog, and we can't wait to meet your dog! My dog is a female German Shepherd mix named Tara. She is my doggy ambassador and we enjoy playing in our fenced in back yard, training games, and walks around the pretty quiet neighborhood we live in.

Jeri was recommended by a friend so we decided to give it a try. Our dog Leon stayed with Jeri for 4 nights. We were so happy we gave it a try because Jeri did a wonderful job caring for Leon. Jeri took away our worries. She took the time to talk to us about Leon during the meet and greet visit. While Leon was in her care, she sent us pictures and updated us of what's going on. She took Leon for walks and trained him on the stuff that Leon needed to learn since he is only a puppy. I highly recommend Jeri and we will continue to have her care for Leon.
Jeri was wonderful with my puppy Bailey! Kept me updated with pictures my entire trip! Very patient and understanding of puppy behavior. I will defientley be booking with Jeri again!

(Friend or family that can make decisions for you if you are out of range.) Are there any medical restrictions, such as hip weakness, allergies, or medications needed? No. Tara is in good health. When was the last time your dog saw a Vet? Why? Drop In visit for a treat and more heart worm and flea supplies. Is your dog spayed or neutered? YES Is your dog crate trained? YES Is your dog house-trained? YES Where does your dog usually sleep at night? Tara likes to cuddle with me. When and how much do you feed? (Please provide extra food in case your trip is delayed.) 
 Any food issues like "no people food", or food aggression? YES / NO (explain) Tara loves homemade dog food mixed in with her kibble, and a variety of healthy treats. What are your dog's specific quirks? (Normal behavior for them, or breed specific quirks?) Some dogs ring a bell to go outside. Some dogs snore loudly. Is there anything specifically that causes your dog anxiety? Tara has improved a lot riding in the car since we got her a seat belt. I think it makes her feel safer. What is your dog's favorite thing? Tara loves her food balls, stuffed Kongs, training games, and sleeping too close to the fireplace.
A typical day
We like to play in the back yard, and go for walks around the neighborhood.
