Pet care experience
Dogs have been an integral part to my growth since early childhood, as I consider my own dogs family! Pet sitting and dog walking is more of an enjoyed habit than a job for me, since I love spending time with dogs and making sure they are nourished, exercised, played with, looked after and kept well-entertained and happy! I currently have a Chocolate Lab and a Chihuahua Terrier mix at home I often take hiking (bonus: I've got a grassy yard and a hiking trail in my backyard!) to keep them well-exercised and healthy. It's important to expose our furry friends to the great outdoors amidst the hustle and bustle of city life in California, therefore I do my best to fulfill the needs of your dog at your request! I can handle caring for more than one pet at a time in a household, I can sing your dogs to sleep, and I am available mostly during the day as I am a musician with a more flexible schedule!

Information Jenny T. would like to know about your pet
Before sitting a dog, I would like to be informed of any allergies/medications/potential medical issues I should be aware of to ensure both the safety of your animal and myself. I would also like to be informed of any behavioral concerns/previous trauma so that I am aware I don't do anything that may overexcite or upset your dog. I love all breeds and all sizes, dogs rule!
A typical day
I've got a grassy backyard and a hiking trail behind it that leads to a small reservoir (that's great for dogs that love to swim!), so if your pets are good with hiking I will gladly walk them there! My neighborhood is quiet, hilly, and not too full of other dogs being walked/cars, so if behavior or dog anxiety is an issue, this is a good environment for your pet. At your request I may take them anywhere you'd like them to go within a 20 mile radius, however the Glendale/Tujunga area (where I reside) is full of beautiful, not-so-crowded trails and dog parks for us to explore. I always carry tennis balls for my Lab so if your dog likes to play, I have plenty of toys!
