Pet care experience
I love all dogs! I loved my own sweet cockapoo for 14 years, and have been watching dogs for my relatives, neighbors, and friends for the past 10 years. I will do anything to make your dogs happy--take them for long walks, rub their bellies, play fetch and tug-of-war, snuggle, and give them lots of love. I have experience caring for dogs between 10 and 65 lbs, and young dogs to senior dogs. I cared for my own dog as a senior, so I am familiar with dogs who are deaf, blind, unable to walk up or down stairs, require oral medication, and need extra love and attention. I will primarily be available on weekends from Friday evenings through Sunday evenings (I have a full-time job during the week). I have a dog friendly neighborhood, so I can take your dog for a long or short walk, and should be available to let them outside every 2-4 hours. I would love the opportunity to meet and love your furry friend!

My dog ran up to Jenny like they were best friends as soon as he saw her. She asked questions to make sure he would be comfortable and safe. Comminication was great and she was a big help with my little separation anxiety boy. She sent photos of him on her lap and looking super comfy in her home. I hope to get them together for another daycare visit soon!

Freddie had a great time with Jenny! Jenny was super thorough when asking about Freddie’s routine and she was great about sending pictures while we were away. Freddie came home very happy. We would absolutely have Jenny watch Freddie again and recommend her!

I live in a high-rise apartment building (though I am on a lower floor), so I do not have a backyard, but I know where all the best grass spots are to take your dog out to the bathroom or to play. I do have a balcony if your dog would enjoy basking in the sun with me. I’m happy to go on long or short walks with your furry friend! I do not have dog supplies, so if you could please bring any food/water bowls and food, leash, collar/harness, bed, crate, toys, or anything else your pup might need that would be great! Since I live in an apartment, I cannot take care of dogs that bark a lot to be sure I don’t disturb my neighbors. If I’m caring for your dog in your own home, I am very conscientious and respectful of your space. I will leave your house in the same condition it was when I arrived, and will follow any rules or boundaries for your living space.

I would like to know the dog's temperament, breed, any special care instructions, training commands, favorite and least favorite activities, routines for going to the bathroom, walks, eating, sleeping, crate use, and tendencies around new people and other dogs.
A typical day
I live in a moderately busy city area with plenty of walking space, and several nearby trails if your dog prefers longer distances. I have mapped out all the nearby patches of grass and areas for your dog to play. There is a small dog park around the corner from my apartment, and a large human park (where dogs are welcome) nearby as well. I can play with your dog and their favorite toys in my apartment, give them belly rubs, snuggle on my couch, and feed them some yummy treats when allowed.

Availability
I work as a teacher full-time during the school year, so I am available in the late afternoons and evenings to play with your pups, and typically available on weekends. In the summer I am more flexible throughout weekdays and weekends.
