I am a strong believer that there should be total trust and honesty between me and the dog owner. Please let me know if there are any concerns you may have about the visit (ex: dog can get aggressive with other dogs, dog can get wild if they see a deer,...) so that I can make sure I am handling them safely in different situations. It is also helpful to have a written description of their typical day (such as time they wake up, times they eat, and times they walk) in instances when I am house sitting.

When I am watching over someone’s dog, I like to be able to provide them with their normal/typical schedule. If your dog is used to getting walked 4 times a day, I can do that! If they don’t like walks and would prefer to play fetch in their backyard, I can do that! I can also take them to different parks if that’s something they like and the owner is comfortable with. Every pet varies, so I always like to meet them first and to learn what they are like. I want them to have a fun, loving time with me, but also want to ensure that they feel comfortable and safe.
