Pet care experience
I’m a Jen-of-all-trades and a master of fun. Between sittings, I write, act, teach yoga and relish in simple pleasures. I recently moved to NY from Kansas City, where I waited tables and ran a booked-out dog sitting business. Most of my clients were friends and referrals, though Rover is where I got started. In the last months of my time in KC, I had three consecutive months of sits, becoming everyone’s go-to girl. I love the responsibility and warmth I feel when I’m sitting, simulating the life of a pet owner before it’s my time to have a four legged friend of my own.

Jenny has watched our dogs at least a half dozen times, and we do not know what we would do without her!! It is such a relief as pet owners to know that our animals will be loved on, taken care us as if they were her own, and that we can trust her in our home. Our dogs are so comfortable with Jenny and get so excited when she comes over. She always makes sure that they get lots of exercise. The dogs are anxiety free and completely rested when we get home. Jenny is reliable and will quickly become your GO TO sitter.
Jenny has looked after my pets for the last 3 years at least. She is my go to gal! When it was just me and my one pup to now 3 pets, she has been a reliable source of love & care. She even waters plants and keeps the place tidy! Jenny has proven to respond well & level headed when faced with stress as well. She’s basically the only other person I trust to make sure the needs of my fur fam are adequately met and exceeded. We LOVE Jenny! And know that whomever is able to have her next will definitely be so lucky for her care🥰
Jenny was an excellent caretaker for my dog and cat, Luna and Virgo. I appreciated her daily pictures and communication. She was very kind and made me feel very comfortable leaving my pets in her care for a week. After her house sit, she put her sheets in the laundry and cleaned up the spaces she used. If she weren't moving, she'd be my go-to sitter! I can't recommend her enough. :)
Jenny has been sitting with our dog for the past year. She is a wonderful treasure, and we were really lucky to find her. She was always on time, trustworthy, and did more than asked. And even more importantly, she took great care of our little guy, Gus. We are going to miss her terribly!!

I am new to New York, which means me and your pup have the whole city to explore. Whatever you are comfortable with, we will head to the multitude of parks and trails by the harbor.

Availability
I work part time and pick up gigs which run no longer than hours at a time. Staying still is only something I do when I meditate, thus having a home with pets to take care of helps me to plan ahead for my week and as a single girl with dreams of a family, I love having sittings for practice of extra responsibility.
