I have a degree in veterinary technology and have experience caring for animals as a technician in a fast paced veterinary clinic. I signed up for rover because I currently work in more of a laboratory setting in the vet field and I dont get to meet new cats and dogs through my day job anymore and I really miss the animal care aspect of being a tech. Prior to this I worked as a lodger/ doggy daycare councilor for 3 years. I am trained and comfortable with bathing, cleaning ears, trimming nails, expressing anal glands and giving medications including injections/fluids. At home I have one cat and two border collie mixes that I adore. My dogs grew up going to daycamp and the dog park with me and are a great pair to meet if you need some extra socializing for your pup. I have many years experience caring for all types of cats and dogs. In my free time, I enjoy training my active pups and taking them running and hiking. I have a fairly flexible schedule, so drop in visits morning and night can easily be arranged during the week. I am available for boarding and drop in visits anytime of day Fridays through Mondays. My husband and I live in a single family home with a fenced in yard. I have 2 border collie mixes who are very dog friendly for both large and small dogs. We have plenty of toys, bowls, treats, and dog beds, along with a large wire kennel to share with any boarder staying with us!
