*I require a meet & greet prior to any booking* I am available for drop in visits Monday-Wednesday but only in the evenings. Mon-Wed show as blocked off on my Rover calendar because Rover only gives the option to specify full day availability verses hours within that day. Please message me and I can let you know if I'm available or not. ------------------------------------- I have been working as a part time animal sitter & dog walker for over 20 years. I have experience with senior pets and I am animal CPR certified. I’ve worked extensively with animal rescue organizations, both volunteering & providing pro bono design work. I just finished a 9 week internship as an animal care attendant for special needs farmed animals at an animal sanctuary. I’ve lived with animals my entire life & I am truly the most happy when I’m in the presence of animals. I work part time from home so I set my schedule. I'm very organized and my dog walking duties are always upheld. There should never be an issue with scheduling. *ROVER HOLIDAY DATES 2023 (HOLIDAY RATES WILL BE CHARGED): JAN 13-16 FEB 17-20 MAY 26-29 JUNE 30 - JULY 4 SEP 1-4 NOV 23-26 DEC 22 (2022) - JAN 1 (2024) I do not offer pet care in my home as I have 2 dog myself. My older dog has some physical limitations so introducing other dogs into her environment is not an option.

Jenny is fantastic! I was gone for 2 weeks, and I felt like the cats were in great hands. Communication is easy and excellent with her, and she spends the full 30min with them which I really appreciated since I had been away for so long. There was one time one of my cats was hiding out, and she stayed longer to make sure they were ok. Highly recommend!
Dexter loved Jen. He was so excited to see her every day. She is such a sweet person. She was on time which I appreciated. I would highly recommend her. She’s a gem!
Hi! Jen is an amazing dog walker and I would highly recommend her. She has taken on walking my 18 year old Emma, a rat terrier mix, 5 days a week. Jen is patient and kind with Emma, from slowly waking her up each afternoon, to walking her in all kinds of horrible winter weather, to making sure her paws are clean when they return. And with my old sassy girl, trust me when I say none of it is easy. Jen somehow pulls it off, week after week. I'm so grateful to have found her.
Rover would only let me tip 18.00 it wouldn’t my me tip higher . So wierd .

A typical day
Walks, hikes, fetch and play will be on the menu. I listen to the dog parents as far as what they think their pup needs. Older pups sometimes go on shorter walks while young and active pups need far more play and vigorous exercise to burn off their energy.

Availability
I work from home as an illustrator and I dictate my own schedule. There will not be an issue or conflict with scheduling. I also plan my trips months in advance and give my clients ample notice of when I will not be available.
