Pet care experience
At 33 years old I have always had a dog in my life. My precious pooch, Freya, is now 9 years old and is a "special needs" (she is completely deaf) pit mix rescue and she is the light of my life! We take walks daily for exercise and we love to travel (she loves car rides), go on hiking adventures (sometimes alone, but her favorite is when we get to go with all her pup cousins!), sometimes we even run 5k's!, and at the end of the day we love to snuggle up on the couch with our sweet kitty, Audrey. When your fur babies are in my care I promise to love and care for them like they are my own. Having needed to leave my dog behind from time to time I have learned that the best way to really enjoy your time away and to truly be able to relax is to have the peace of mind that your fur babies are being well taken care of in your absence. ***Please note, while I do my best to be flexible and accommodating to fit the needs of everyone who reaches out to me, I do work a full time job during the week and because of this I am unable to be at your home with your fur babies at all times while you are away. :) Thank you so much for your understanding!***

Jenny was AMAZING while staying with our one year old Husky and our kitten. We received frequent updates and pictures of our babies while we were away and she even offered to do extra things like bring the mail in and water the plants so my mom didn’t have to stop by and do them. She was amazing and I appreciate how comfortable she made me feel while leaving my animals for the first time. If I’m ever looking for someone to watch my babies, she’ll be the first to contact!

Jenny is awesome! She takes great care of our Husky and even walks her very early in the morning during hot summer days. I really appreciate the detailed notes Jenny gives about the walk and how our pup is doing.

I love all dogs, cats, and critters of all shapes, sizes, breeds, age, etc. (I'm a sucker for a senior dog) And I've been so fortunate in my pet-sitting career to care for pets across the spectrum from the tiniest Chihuahuas all the way up to the mighty and magnificent Cane Corso as well as young pups, senior dogs, cats of all ages, guinea pigs and even a tortoise! I like to learn about your pets daily routine so I can try to keep them on a similar schedule. I am interested to know if they have any special care needs (i.e. medications,
A typical day
In my experience, the best dog is a well exercised dog! I would love to take your dog for walks or hikes, play with their favorite toys and if it is okay to give them treats, I also enjoy working on training. (exercising the mind is equally important!) Your pup will also receive lots of love, snuggles and praise! And If your pup is a social butterfly and likes to walk/hike/play with other dogs, my girl would love to tag along and make a new friend! But of course, every pet is unique and I am more than happy to do whatever makes your fur baby comfortable while you are away.
