Hello! I am a local mental health therapist looking to diversify my professional work with my love of dogs. I have two myself, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi and a Shepherd/Hound mix - both rescues. They’re healthy and social and we take them everywhere we go just about! I’m eager they’ll love yours too. Our Corgi (named Bunny) is great for play time and our other (named Calvin) is great at enabling lazy snoozes on our cool tile floor. Bunny actually accompanied me to work on Saturdays bringing my trauma clients comfort and warmth. So about my heading - veterinary social work is a passion of mine. I first learned about the field in undergrad (I have my BSW, MSW, LCSW) and learned that it utilizes the powerful relationship between people and their pets to promote health and healing. I’m eager to get my certification when the time comes, however in the mean time I am more than happy to support your fur baby relationship by making sure they’re well loved and cared for.
