Ever since I had to put my own dog down I've been aching to have another one, but since I am in college now I don't have the time or place to raise another pup. I also like being around animals as a stress reliever, so all things considered, trying this is probably the next best option. Other than dogs, I have direct experience with birds, fish, cats, and some livestock. I have some experience doing obedience training and would love to try agility. I don't mind having to pick/clean up after pets and I have previously dealt with various pet illnesses before (parasites, post surgery care, skin issues, etc). I've also done lots of research in my free time on many other types of animals if a dog is not the only critter you might need checking in on. Never met an animal that didn't like me!
