Pet care experience
I was the neighborhood pet sitter growing up! I have taken animal science classes and am comfortable taking care of all sorts of animals. I work in a small animal clinic and am comfortable administering meds (including insulin). I own my own dog, cat, and horse who are my world!

Jennifer was great! We needed a dog/house sitter for a long trip without much notice because 2 other sitters bailed on us. Jennifer was very accommodating and great with our anxious pup. She was very responsive to my questions and texts and left our house in great condition. Would definitely use her services again!

Jen is great with both dogs and cats. We have 3 dogs - a German Shepherd, a two mixed breeds - ranging in age from 2 - 14. We also have 3 cats - to include a barn cat. Jen is the only person that can come and pet sit for the 14 year old dog - she is very picky about her caregivers. The dogs love her and she is great with walking them and pet sitting for them. The cats love her too - even the barn cat who is a curmudgeon. She is very reliable and caring regarding all of the animals. She is also good about texting if there are any issues or concerns we should know about. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I unfortunately cannot offering boarding at my home as I have a very particular cat. But I will make sure to follow all guidelines laid out for caring for your pet at your home! I am also willing to stay overnight if you feel that will be best for your pet.

Please let me know if there are any medications or behavioral traits I should know about. I’m comfortable giving meds including injectables such as insulin. Working in a vet clinic has given me experience working with pets of all temperaments, so please let me know if there is anything I should know about their personality!
A typical day
I love to do what they love to keep them happy while they’re away! I love taking pets for walks, hikes, and will make sure they have plenty of playtime to keep them stimulated and happy, and to burn off energy! If they’re lower energy level, I’m happy to sit with them and give them plenty of scratches and pets or just read a book to keep them company.
